I know it is the Indian Nifty trading in Singapore Exchange, but how the NIFTY traded in SGX? Does it mean all the Nifty stocks are traded in SGX? How SGX Nifty effect NSE Nifty?
SGX Nifty, also known as Singapore Nifty is a derivative product of Indian Nifty index officially traded in Singapore stock exchange. The movement of SGX Nifty is highly correlated to Indian Nifty index. Its important to understand that not all stocks that Nifty comprises of is traded in SGX. SGX Nifty, also known as Singapore Nifty is derivative of NIFTY index traded officially in Singapore stock exchange. Nifty trades for six and half hours on national stock exchange but NIFTY Future on SGX is traded foe sixteen hours from 6.30 am to 11.30 pm as per Indian time. Due to long hour trade it is affected by world economic news and political events and takes direction accordingly.
